How do I open an account?
Start by requesting an account. We guide you through KYB for companies, or KYC for individuals, and set up your European IBAN once onboarding is complete.
Who can open an account?
Teralex works with companies of every size and with individuals. Most of our clients are corporate, but a EUR account under a European IBAN is available to private clients as well.
What currency and payment rails do you support?
Accounts are held in EUR under a European IBAN. You can send and receive SEPA Credit Transfer and SEPA Instant payments across the EU.
What can I do with crypto on Teralex?
Exchange crypto for euros and back inside your account, hold digital assets in custodial wallets, and send or receive crypto to and from external wallets, all on one platform.
How are my funds protected?
Your funds are held in a dedicated account with a qualifying financial institution, kept separate from our operating funds at all times. They are supported by insurance arrangements in accordance with Canadian payment services legislation. All accounts are subject to KYC and AML procedures underapplicable Canadian regulatory requirements.
How long does onboarding take?
It depends on how complete your documents are and the nature of your business. Once KYB or KYC is cleared, your account and IBAN are activated.
